Introduction
Dell Lifecycle Controller Integration (DLCI) for Microsoft System Center 2012 SP1 Configuration Manager (Configuration
Manager), Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager (Configuration Manager) and Microsoft System Center
Configuration Manager 2007 (Configuration Manager) enables the administrators to leverage the remote enablement
capabilities of Dell Lifecycle Controller, available as part of the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC).

At a high level, the remote enablement capabilities consists of:

What's New in This Release
This release of Dell Lifecycle Controller Integration for Configuration Manager adds the support for the following:

New Support Functionality
Support for operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server
2012 and Windows 8
You can install DLCI on Windows Server 2012 and
Windows 8.
Support for remote SMS provider environment You can install DLCI on a Configuration Manager setup
with remote SMS Provider. All features of DLCI 2.1 are
supported.
Lifecycle Controller 2.1 support for DLCI You can configure PowerEdge 12G servers using Dell
Lifecycle Controller Integration through Lifecycle
Controller 2 version 1.1.5. All the features of the previous
version of Dell Lifecycle Controller Integration are
supported for PowerEdge 12G servers.
Operating System Deployment You can deploy the following versions of Windows and
non-Windows operating systems:
• Windows operating systems — Windows Server 2012
with Microsoft System Center 2012 SP1 Configuration
Manager.
• Non-Windows operating systems — Red Hat
Enterprise Linux Verison 6.4, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
