Using The System Viewer Utility
This chapter describes the operations that you can perform with the System
Viewer utility.
This release of DLCI is licensed and the licensing is based on entitlement.
The licenses available for this release of DLCI are 50, 200, and unlimited
nodes license.
Without a license, you can discover the servers, but a valid license is required
to use the features available in this release of DLCI. Also, with a valid license,
you cannot configure the servers more then the number specified in the
license. However, if you have an unlimited nodes license, then you can
discover and configure any number of servers.
You can use the System Viewer utility to:
View and edit the hardware configuration. For more information, see
Viewing And Editing BIOS Configuration.
View and configure the RAID configuration. For more information, see
Viewing And Configuring RAID.
Create and edit Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC)
configuration profiles for your system. For more information, see
Configuring iDRAC Profiles For A System.
Create configurations for network adapters such as Network Interface
Controller (NICs) and Converged Network Adapter (CNAs) and save
them to a profile. For more information, see Configuring NICs And CNAs
For A System.
View the current firmware inventory, compare it against a baseline, and
update the firmware. For more information, see Comparing And Updating
Firmware Inventory.
Compare the hardware configuration profiles. For more information, see
Comparing Hardware Configuration Profile.
View and export the Lifecycle Controller logs. For more information, see
Viewing Lifecycle Controller Logs.
