Importing server profile

To import inventory of discovered servers:

1. In DLCI for SCVMM, under Maintenance Center, select the servers’ whose profiles you want to import, and click Import

2. Provide the required details, select the Import Server Profile Type you want, and then click Finish.

NOTE: Clear the Preserve Data option if you do not want to preserve the present RAID configurations of the server.

Manage jobs

All the firmware update, export and import server configuration jobs are listed with their status information. Also, you can cancel

only the scheduled jobs.

Canceling firmware update jobs

Prerequisites: Make sure that the job is in Scheduled state.

To cancel a scheduled firmware update job:

1. In DLCI for SCVMM, click Maintenance Center, and then click Manage Jobs.

2. Select the jobs that you want to cancel, click Cancel, and then click Yes.
