Getting Started

Management systems are the systems on which DLCI for SCVMM, also known as the appliance and its components, are installed.

The components of appliance are:

• Dell Lifecycle Controller Integration (DLCI) Integration Gateway for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager

(SCVMM), also known as DLCI Integration Gateway for SCVMM.

• Dell Lifecycle Controller Integration (DLCI) Console Add-in for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM),

also known as DLCI Console Add-in for SCVMM.

Logging in to the DLCI Admin Portal — SCVMM

To log in to DLCI Admin Portal — SCVMM, perform the following steps:

1. From the appliance, note the DLCI Admin Portal — SCVMM URL.

2. In a web browser, go to URL: https://<IP Address> or <FQDN>.

For example: 192.168.20.30 or DLCIforSCVMM.myorgdomain.com.

3. Log in to DLCI Admin Portal — SCVMM by using the user credentials provided while configuring the appliance.

The DLCI Admin Portal — SCVMM user interface contains the following options:

1. The heading banner includes the product name and the following options:

• Admin — displays information about the user who has logged in to DLCI for SCVMM — Admin Portal.
