firmwarecanbeatediousprocessif

Controllerwillrestorefirmwareandconfigurationsettingfromthenonfunctionalparttothereplaced
partinthesameslot.TheLifecycleControllerdetectsthenewreplacedpartinthesystemandapplies
changesaccordingtouserdefinedsettings.

licensedfeatureandrequiresatleastanExpresslicense.TheactionsdefinedinLifecycleControllerare
appliedonthereplacedcomponentsandthecorrespondingeventsareloggedinLifecycleLog.Part
replacementiscurrentlysupportedon

PSUs
Replaceablecomponentsinthesystemaretargetsforpartreplacementactions.Theseactionsinclude
flashingthenewpartwiththefirmwareversionand/orconfiguringthenewpartwiththesettingsand
configurationoftheoriginalpart.PerformingLifecycleControllerResettoDefaults(LCWipe)hasno
impacttoPartReplacementfeature.IfLifecycleControllerResettoDefaultsactionisperformed,LC
