Resolution
To enable OS to iDRAC pass-through in shared mode:
1. Set the static IP address on the host system using the Network Manger GUI or edit the
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file.
2. Set the static IP address for the iDRAC in the same subnet
3. Enable OS to iDRAC pass-through feature. For the steps, see
iDRAC7 User’s Guide
at
www.dell.com/esmmanuals.
4. Reboot the host system.
5. After restarting the host system, connect to the iDRAC using the static iDRAC IP address.

All Dell PowerEdge Systems with iDRAC7.
Issue 50:
Description
When logging into iDRAC console, occasionally log in fails with PKCS security error.
Resolution
Run the
racadm sslresetcfg command to clear this issue and log in successfully. This installs the
default certificates and any self-signed or customer SSL certificates are replaced with the default
certificate.

All Dell PowerEdge Systems with iDRAC7.
Issue 51:
Description
When the operating system language is English and in Internet Explorer, if you change the browser's
language settings to a localized language, and then launch the iDRAC7 IP, the pages are displayed in
English instead of the selected language. However, if it is the language specific operating system, the
pages are displayed in the localized language.
Resolution
Use Firefox browser to display the pages as per the language specified in the language settings.
