Description

For an Intel(R) Ethernet X520 10GbE Dual Port KX4-KR Mezzanine card, after the firmware is downgraded from version

14.0.12 to version 13.5.6, the View Current Versions page displays the firmware version for the card as 5.6 instead of 13.5.6.

Resolution

Update the firmware by running the Update Package through the operating system.

Description

While updating an iDRAC firmware by using a tool other than Lifecycle Controller, Lifecycle Controller must not be open, or

running; because, it results in an unknown behavior. Use Lifecycle Controller after the firmware is successfully updated.

If the iDRAC firmware update is interrupted for any reason, wait for 30 minutes before attempting another firmware update.
