Inserting the Operating System Media

Depending on the operating system or option selected, do one of the
following:
If the operating system from the list is selected, insert the standard
operating system installation media when prompted and click
Next
.
USC or USC-LCE validates the media.
NOTE: USC or USC-LCE renders the drivers through the OEMDRV
directory to the operating system.
If the operating system from the list is selected and you want to install
a custom operating system, insert the custom operating system media
with all the operating system components that are specific to your
requirements and click
Next
.
NOTE: USC or USC-LCE renders the drivers through the OEMDRV
directory to the custom operating system.
•If Any other Operating System option is selected, insert the
operating system installation media with all the operating system
components that are specific to your requirements and click Next.
NOTE: USC or USC-LCE does not render the extracted drivers in the
OEMDRV directory to the operating system.

Based on the media inserted, do one of the following:
If the standard operating system installation media is validated,
continue the installation. Else, insert the correct media and click
Next
.
If the custom operating system installation media is inserted and if
the validation check fails, the message —
The selected media
doesn’t match the standard media certification
of the OS <name of the selected operating
system>
appears. Click
Yes
to continue, else
No
to insert a different
media and retry.
•If
Any other Operating System option is selected and
the custom
media is inserted. Click
Next
to continue as the USC or USC-LCE
does not validate the media.
