Modem: Dell Latitude D505 Series Service Manual
1 modem cable 4 pull-tab
2 modem Y0231 5 modem connector on system board
3 M2 x 3-mm screw 4270E
5. Pull up on the pull-tab to disconnect the modem from the modem connector on
the system board.
NOTICE: Do not disconnect the modem cable from the system board.
6. Disconnect the modem cable from the modem.
Installing the Modem
1. Connect the modem cable to the modem.
2. Slip the left end of the modem and the modem cable underneath the metal
modem-securing clip.
