The system reboots two times during the package deployment.
Installing packages using WDM
To install the package using WDM, do the following:
1 Copy the package (.exe le) from support.dell.com.
2 Extract the .exe le.
The package is extracted to a default directory C:\WDM Packages.
3 Log in to the WDM Web UI, and go to Applications > Other Packages.
4 In the upper right corner of the page, click the + (Create Package) icon, download the Package Register Utility and run the
package.
WDM Package Registration Utility window is displayed.
5 Browse and select the corresponding .rsp le, and then register the package.
6 Schedule the package to the target client.
Installing package using WDM Web UI
To install the package using WDM Web UI, do the following:
1 Copy the package (.exe le) from Support.dell.com
2 Extract the package les, and keep the les in local repository or WDM server.
3 Open the WDM server, and then start the WDM Web UI.
4 Log in using WDM server credentials.
5 On the Web UI, expand Applications > Other Packages
6 On the upper-right corner of the screen, click the plus icon, and then click download.
7 Open the downloaded package.
The WDM Package Registration Utility window is displayed.
8 In the left pane, click RSP.
9 Browse the .RSP le from the le location where you have downloaded the add-on package.
The add-on package is registered in the Other Packages section.
10 Close the window after the upload process is complete.
11 In the left pane, click Devices.
12 Select the checked-in devices where you want to update add-on, and then click Update.
The target client restarts, and the add-on is updated.
