* IMPORTANT: eth1 in LinVM is preconfigured with a temporary public routable IP
address. This was required to preconfigure the DAAD storage. Customers must ensure to
change this IP address to match their public network before plugging in to the DISOD
ToR switches to avoid any IP conflicts.
3.1.3 Static IP addresses of Database and DAAD nodes
Table 10 shows an example of the preassigned IP addresses for the different network
components on the database nodes and the DAAD nodes within a 2×2 DISOD solution
rack. The IP address increases by one with each increasing node number for a particular
network component. For example, the private management port (em1) on the database
nodes are in the IP address range of 192.168.211.21 to 192.168.211.30—with
database node #1 with IP address 192.168.211.21, database node #2 with
192.168.211.22, and so on. Similarly, the iDRAC IP addresses on the DAAD nodes are in
the range of 192.168.211.31 to 192.168.211.40—with DAAD node #1 with IP address
192.168.211.31, DAAD node #2 with 192.168.211.32, and so on.
