Removing the power and volume-
buttons board

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Remove the hard drive.
Procedure
1 Peel o the tape that secures the power and volume-buttons board-cable to the
palm-rest assembly.
2 Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board-cable from the I/O board.
3 Remove the power and volume-buttons board-cable from the routing guides on
the palm-rest assembly.
4 Remove the screw (M2x3.5) that secures the power and volume-buttons board
to the palm-rest assembly.
