Prerequisites

1. Remove the base cover.

2. Remove the battery.

Procedure

1. Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the touchpad.

2. Peel the tapes from the touchpad.

3. Turn the keyboard cable over and place it on the system board.

4. Remove the four screws (M2x2) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
