Replacing the coin-cell battery

Procedure

1. With the positive side facing up, place the coin-cell battery on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

2. Route the coin-cell battery cable and the antenna cables through the routing guides on the right speaker.

3. Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.

4. Place the I/O board cable over the coin-cell battery.

5. Slide the I/O-board cable into its slot on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.

Post-requisites

1. Replace the battery.

2. Replace the base cover.
