Known issues
Applications pinned to Start and Taskbar may not be captured in the
Dynamic image
Description While capturing a Dynamic image, if you have chosen to retain current user settings in the Profile Copier
section, any applications pinned to Start and Taskbar may not be captured as part of your image.
Workaround Contact the Dell OS Imaging Helpdesk for assistance. See Image Assist support on page 3.

Hyper-V Manager chooses the external hard drive as the target restore
disk
Description The Hyper-V Manager chooses an external hard drive as a primary target restore disk although the
external hard drive is connected to Hyper-V Manager as a secondary hard drive.

Check Image fails Driver Check
Description
When a VMware VMCI Bus Device Driver is automatically installed during a Windows update, the Check
Image process fails at Driver Check.

Mismatched Microsoft Windows OS build version displayed on the
Image Assist Dynamic home page
Description
The Microsoft Windows OS build version displayed on the Image Assist Dynamic home page is not the
same as the version displayed in the Windows About your PC system settings.
Workaround See the About your PC system settings or the OS build number for the correct Windows version.
