When configuring email alerts from Group Manager, you can only provide IPv4 or IPv6 address for SMTP email server address field. If

you provide FQDNs, the group job still proceeds and completes, but the SMTP email server address attribute is not configured.

Resolution

Use only IP address and not FQDNs to configure Group Manager email alerts.

46. Description

If you have configured only IPv6 for a group in Group Manager, it may still detect iDRACs configured with only IPv4. However, when

you try to onboard iDRACs configured with only IPv4, the operation may fail without any descriptive error message.

Resolution

Enable IPv6 on the iDRAC that you are trying to onboard.

After running the racresetcfg command, vFlashView is still able to enumerate and SDcardrollup status is displayed as OK.

Resolution

After running the racresetcfg command, disable vFlash manually.

When you try to set the power cap by using iDRAC HII or by using the IPMI command Netfn : 0x06 Cmd 0x58 Param : 234,

the power cap policy name does not change to

iDRAC. The name that was set earlier is retained.

Resolution

Set the power cap using the iDRAC GUI, RACADM, or WSMan.
