1(Extended) — The extended mode executes all available
diagnostics tests.
2(Both) — Runs express and extended tests serially in
sequence.
-f <filename> — Specifies the name of the configuration
file.
-l — Specifies the location of the network share (NFS or
CIFS).
-u <username> — Specifies the user name of the remote
share to import the file.
-p <password> — Specifies the password of the remote
share to import the file.
-r <reboot type> — Specifies the reboot type. The type
can be one of the following:
pwrcycle — Power cycle
Graceful — Graceful reboot without forced shutdown
Forced — Graceful reboot with forced shutdown
-s <start time> — Specifies the start time for the
scheduled job in yyyymmddhhmmss format. The default
value TIME_NOW starts the job immediately.
-e <expiration time> — Specifies the expiry time for
the scheduled job in yyyymmddhhmmss format. The default
value TIME_NA does not apply the waiting time.
NOTE: For the diagnostic report run operation, the time
difference between the -s and -e options must be more
than five minutes.
Output Provides the Job ID for the diagnostic operation.
Examples
To initiate a remote diagnostic operation:
racadm diagnostics run -m 1 -r forced -s
20121215101010 -e TIME_NA
To export a remote diagnostics report to CIFS share:
racadm diagnostics export -f diagnostics -l //
169.254.23.44/cifs -u administrator -p
password123
To export a remote diagnostics report to NFS share:
racadm diagnostics export -f diagnostics -l
169.254.23.44:/nfs -u administrator -p
password123
