where, y is an alpha-numeric character such as M (for blade servers), R (for rack servers), and T (for tower servers) and x is a
number. This indicates the generation of Dell PowerEdge servers.
NOTE: Scripts using -$ can use these for yx1x systems, but starting with yx2x systems one script with admin-> can be
used for blade, rack, and tower servers.
iDRAC SMCLP syntax
The iDRAC SMCLP uses the concept of verbs and targets to provide systems management capabilities through the CLI. The verb
indicates the operation to perform, and the target determines the entity (or object) that runs the operation.
The SMCLP command line syntax:
<verb> [<options>] [<target>] [<properties>]
The following table provides the verbs and its denitions.

cd Navigates through the MAP using the shell

help Displays help for a specic target
reset Resets the target
show Displays the target properties, verbs, and subtargets

load Moves a binary image to a specied target address from a URL
