Issue 258250:
Description
You may notice the following issues on the Dell 12th generation of PowerEdge servers with iDRAC connected to the
dedicated network port, if the Evaluation license has expired or after deleting the Enterprise license:
iDRAC web interface fails to switch the NIC Selection option from Dedicated to Shared (default)

the system is blocked
Resolution
Before deleting the license, change the Network Selection option from Dedicated to Shared. To access the
Network Selection option, on the iDRAC web interface, click iDRAC Settings-> Network-> NIC
Selection.
In case the license has expired, perform one of the following steps:
o Reboot the server, press F2 during POST, and set the Network Selection option to Shared.
o Install the local RACADM tool in the host server and execute the following commands to switch the
network selection to LOM:
To set to LOM1 — racadm set idrac.nic.selection 2
