Issue 78:
Description
The following error message is mentioned in the Firmware Update Help page:
If you navigate away from the page without committing the updates, an error message is displayed and
all the uploaded content is lost.
Resolution
The error message is not displayed. Ignore the content.
Versions/Systems Affected
All 12th generation Dell PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7 1.50.50 and later versions.
Issue 79:
Description
Performing a racadm racresetcfg does not clear any previously set Automatic Update settings as
expected.
Resolution
To reset the settings, use a command to manually clear the settings or use the iDRAC Web interface.
Versions/Systems Affected
All 12th generation Dell PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7 firmware versions 1.51.51, 1.55.55, and 1.57.57.
Issue 80:
Description:
In the Help page for SNMP and Email Settings, it is mentioned as the State option must be enabled if you
want to test if the SNMP traps can be sent to the specified IP address or not.
Resolution:
It is not required to enable the State option.
Versions/Systems Affected:
All 12th generation Dell PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7 firmware version 1.50.50 onwards.
Issue 81:
Description:
In the iDRAC7 User's Guide version 1.50.50, it is mentioned as HDD supports both .img and .iso file types.
Resolution:
HDD supports only .img file type and does not support .iso file type.
Versions/Systems Affected:
All 12th generation Dell PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7 firmware version 1.50.50 onwards.
Issue 82:
Description
The write-protected mode status may not be updated for the vFlash card.
Resolution
Reset iDRAC to update the write-protected mode status.
