15. Description
Firmware update using downloads.dell.com fails, while using HTTP as Network share and Proxy type in Lifecycle Controller GUI.
Workaround
Use any one of the following methods to update the firmware:
• use the SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxy type in Lifecycle Controller GUI using HTTP as network share
• use the HTTPS network share in Lifecycle Controller GUI to download and update the firmware from downloads.dell.com
• use the iDRAC GUI

While performing a repository update job, all firmware updates that are included in the repository are successful, however, the
repository update job displays as failed in the job queue.
