NOTE: If the –assign option is no, you cannot add
other options. If the –assign option is yes and if the
-type option is not present, the global hotspare (ghs)
is created by default.
To reset, clear, and import the storage conguration to the
controller, run the following command:
racadm storage importconfig:<Controller
FQDD>
racadm storage resetconfig:<Controller FQDD>
racadm storage clearconfig:<Controller FQDD>
To start or stop a blink or identify operation on the specied or
PCIeSSD device, run the following command:
racadm storage blink:<FQDD>
racadm storage blink:<PCIeSSD FQDD>
racadm storage unblink:<FQDD>
racadm storage unblink:<PCIeSSD FQDD>
NOTE
: The Start or Stop a Blink feature is not
supported for HHHL PCIe SSD devices.
To prepare the PCIeSSD drive for removal, run the following
command:
racadm storage preparetoremove <PCIeSSD
FQDD>
NOTE
: The preparetoremove task is not supported for
HHHL PCIe SSD devices.
NOTE: Ensure that the ISM is installed and running to
perform the preparetoremove operation.
To perform a secure erase operation on PCIeSSD device, run
the following command:
racadm storage secureerase:<PCIeSSD FQDD>
NOTE
: securerase is now supported on SED drives
along with PCIe SSD devices.

-rl—Sets the storage level.
