5 System turns on and the restore process is complete. Check the Lifecycle Logs for the restore process entries.

Importing server prole after system board replacement
Before importing the server prole after replacing the system board, make sure that the following prerequisites are met:
A backup image of the server with the old system board is present.
If you are restoring from a vFlash SD card, it must be installed, and contain the backup image in a folder labeled SRVCNF. This image
must be from the same server that you are trying to restore.
If you are restoring from a network share, make sure that the network share where the backup image le is stored is accessible.
After replacing the system board, import the server prole from a vFlash SD card, network share, or a USB device.
See Post-Import Scenario.
The Service Tag is restored on the new system board from the backup le.
NOTE: Lifecycle Controller prompts you with a dialog box to retrieve the Service Tag and restore the server prole, if you have
replaced a system board and have not entered the Service Tag on the replaced system board.

When you launch Lifecycle Controller after replacing the system board, a message is displayed prompting you to either retrieve the Service
Tag and the server prole using any of the following:
vFlash SD card
Easy Restore
To restore the server prole using vFlash SD card:
1 Press <F10> during POST to launch Lifecycle Controller.
2 Click Yes on Do you want to restore the service tag? dialog box.
3 On the Restore Service Tag dialog box:
To import a server prole that is stored on a vFlash SD card, click Import Server Prole. For more information about importing a
server prole, see Import Server Prole.
NOTE
: To import a server prole, you must have an Enterprise license and administrator-level
rights.
To manually enter a Service Tag, click Manually congure service tag. On the Service Tag Settings page, type the Service Tag,
and then click OK.
To restore the server prole using Easy Restore:

generation PowerEdge servers that have the Easy Restore ash memory.
Easy Restore is not available on PowerEdge R930.
