Concept Guide

Redsh
Redsh is a web-based API which implies that resources are accessed using client supplied URLs. URLs are required to identify Redsh
resources. The Redsh API uses a simple URL hierarchy which follows a /redsh/v1/ pattern for all resources. To access a Redsh
resource, use the URL pattern https://<iDRAC IP>/redsh/v1/<Resource Path>.
The Redsh API Reference Guide provides an overview of the Redsh Scalable Platforms Management API standard and describes the Dell
implementation of Redsh for Dell’s 12th and 13th generation of PowerEdge servers, delivered by the integrated Dell Remote Access
Controller (iDRAC) with Lifecycle Controller.
