Concept Guide
Redsh
Redsh is a web-based API which implies that resources are accessed using client supplied URLs. URLs are required to identify Redsh
resources. The Redsh API uses a simple URL hierarchy which follows a /redsh/v1/ pattern for all resources. To access a Redsh
resource, use the URL pattern https://<iDRAC IP>/redsh/v1/<Resource Path>.
The Redsh API Reference Guide provides an overview of the Redsh Scalable Platforms Management API standard and describes the Dell
implementation of Redsh for Dell’s 12th and 13th generation of PowerEdge servers, delivered by the integrated Dell Remote Access
Controller (iDRAC) with Lifecycle Controller.
