• There is network connectivity between iDRAC and the remote system.
• The remote system and iDRAC is on the same network.
Conguring remote system logging using web interface
To congure the remote syslog server settings:
1 In the iDRAC Web interface, go to Overview > Server > Logs > Settings.
The Remote Syslog Settings page is displayed
2 Enable remote syslog, specify the server address, and the port number. For information about the options, see the iDRAC Online Help.
3 Click Apply.
The settings are saved. All logs written to the lifecycle log are also simultaneously written to congured remote server(s).
Conguring remote system logging using RACADM
To congure the remote system-logging settings, use the set command with the objects in the iDRAC.SysLog group.
