racadm fwupdate -r
Description
The fwupdate subcommand allows users to update the firmware on the
iDRAC6. The user can:
• Check the firmware update process status
• Update the iDRAC6 firmware from a TFTP server by providing an IP
address and optional path
• Update the iDRAC6 firmware from the local file system using local
RACADM
• Rollback to the standby firmware

• Local RACADM
• Remote RACADM
• Telnet/ssh/serial RACADM (The
-p option is not supported with the
serial/Telnet/ssh console)

Subcommand Definition
fwupdate Updates the firmware on the iDRAC6
