252 Configuring and Using Virtual Media
Virtual Media Encryption
Enabled
Select or deselect the checkbox to enable or
disable encryption on Virtual Media
connections. Selected enables encryption;
deselected disables encryption.
Floppy Emulation Indicates whether the Virtual Media appears as a
floppy drive or as a USB key to the server. If
Floppy Emulation is checked, the Virtual Media
device appears as a floppy device on the server. If
it is unchecked, it appears as a USB Key drive.
NOTE: On certain Windows Vista
®
and Red Hat
®
environments, you may not be able to virtualize a
USB with Floppy Emulation enabled.
Connection Status Connected - A Virtual Media session is currently
in progress.
Not connected - A Virtual Media session is not in
progress.
Enable Boot Once Check this box to enable the Boot Once option.
Use this attribute to boot from the Virtual Media.
On the next boot, the system will boot from the
next device in the boot order. This option
automatically disconnects the Virtual Media
devices after the system has booted once.

Print Prints the Configuration values that appear on the screen.
Refresh Reloads the Configuration page.
Apply Saves any new settings on the Configuration page.
