Viewing and Adding Work Notes
The Work Notes page displays the work note entries stored in the Lifecycle
Log. To view the Work Notes page, expand the System tree and click
SystemsLogsWork Notes.
The time stamp recorded for each work note entry and the work note
contents are displayed. The timestamp format is yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss,
based on a 24-hour clock.
Each user who logs in to iDRAC can add work notes to the log. A maximum
of 50 characters is supported for each new work note. Click Save to add the
note to the log.
NOTE: You can use special characters except for ’<’ and ’&’. If you use these
characters, you cannot save the work note.
NOTE: You must have iDRAC login priviliges to add work notes. See "Adding and
Configuring iDRAC6 Users" on page 99 for help configuring user permissions.
