16 In the Destination Email Addresses section, in the first available Email
Alert
field, type the email address that must receive the alert messages,
and then click
Apply .
17 Yo u c an c l i c k Send to send a test email alert message.
It is highly recommended that for security purposes you create a separate
User for IPMI commands with its own user name, IPMI over LAN privileges,
and password:

In the system tree, select System  iDRAC Settings .
2 Click the Network/Security tab, and then click Users .
The
Users screen displays a list of all users (defined or undefined).
3 Click the User ID of an undefined User.
The
User Configuration screen for the selected User ID is displayed.
4 Select the Enable User check box, and then enter the user’s name
and password.
5 In the IPMI LAN Privilege section, ensure that Maximum LAN User
Privilege Granted
is set to Administrator .
6 Set other user privileges as needed.
7 Click Apply to save the new User settings.
