NOTE: If you change these values to lower values, the console redirection feature
of SOL may experience a reduction in performance. Furthermore, the SOL session
must wait to receive an acknowledgement for each packet before sending the next
packet. As a result, the performance is significantly reduced.
7 Configure SSH and Telnet for SOL at System → Remote Access →
iDRAC6 → Network/Security tab → Services .
NOTE: Each blade server supports only one active SOL session.
NOTE: SSH protocol is enabled by default. Telnet protocol is disabled
by default.

Interval
The typical amount of time iDRAC6 waits before sending a partial
SOL data packet. This parameter is specified in milliseconds.
Character Send
Threshold
Specifies the number of characters per SOL data packet. As soon
as the number of characters accepted by iDRAC6 is equal to or
greater than the Character Send Threshold value, iDRAC6 starts
transmitting SOL data packets that contain numbers of characters
equal to or less than the Character Send Threshold value. If a
packet contains fewer characters than this value, it is defined to be
a partial SOL data packet.

Refresh Reloads the Serial Over LAN Configuration Advanced
Settings screen.

Serial Over LAN Configuration Advanced Settings screen.
