S.M.A.R.T Monitoring
Starting iSM 3.5, S.M.A.R.T monitoring feature supports hard disk drives enabled with SATA in AHCI mode. It has built-in capability to
monitor S.M.A.R.T alerts through iDRAC supported auditing methods for hard drives under SATA Chipset controller. Previously the alerts
were monitored by any open-source utility to monitor the hard drives set in RAID Mode.
This feature is controlled by an attribute registry iDRAC.Embedded.1#ServiceModule.1#ChipsetSATA with the following values:
