The prerequisite to manage the hardware or the firmware is to have a dedicated connection between a
device and the supported iDRAC interface. Using the iDRAC access via Host OS feature, you can connect
to an iDRAC interface from an OS IP or host irrespective of the connection between a device and an
iDRAC dedicated network. This feature allows you to monitor the hardware or firmware even if the iDRAC
is not connected to the servers.
iDRAC SNMP アラートの帯域内サポート
帯域外サーバー管理および監視ツールである iDRAC を使用して、SNMP トラップ / アラートをログに記録す
ることができます。ただし、帯域内エージェントを使用するホスト
OS システムマネージメントの観点では、
iDRAC から受信するトラップよりもホスト OS から受信される SNMP アラートが優先されます。SNMP ア
ラートが
iDRAC から受信された場合、アラートはシステム IP からではなく iDRAC IP からのものであるた
め、このアラートのソースを識別することが難しくなります。
iDRAC サービスモジュール 2.3 を使用することにより、iDRAC によって生成されるアラートに類似する
SNMP アラートをホスト OS から受信することができます。
メモ: この機能はデフォルトで無効になっています。帯域内 SNMP アラートメカニズムは iDRAC
SNMP アラートメカニズムと共存可能ではありますが、記録されたログには両方のソースからの重複し
た SNMP アラートが含まれる場合があります。両方を使用する代わりに、帯域内または帯域外のオプ
ションのいずれかを使用することが推奨されます。
メモ: 帯域内 SNMP 機能は、バージョンが最小 2.30.30.30 の iDRAC ファームウェアを持つ第 12 世代
以降のデル PowerEdge Server で使用することができます。
メモ: iDRAC サービスモジュールのカスタムインストール中に帯域内 SNMP アラート機能を有効にす
る場合、デフォルトで Lifecycle ログレプリケーション 機能が有効です。
