Removing the display panel

Prerequisites
NOTE: These instructions are applicable only for laptops with a non-touch
screen display.
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the hard drive.
4 Remove the keyboard
5 Remove the palm-rest assembly.
6 Remove the fans.
7 Remove the display assembly.
8 Remove the display bezel.

Procedure
1 Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the display panel to the display
back-cover and antenna assembly.
