● Log out—Click the Log out button and do one of the following:
○ Log out—Click the Log out button to log out of your user account.
○ Cancel—Click the Cancel option to cancel the logoff action.
NOTE: You can access the Logout and Cancel window by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Delete key combination.
Lock your desktop
The lock screen functionality enables you to secure your device powered by Dell Hybrid Client when you leave your desk. The
lock screen displays the date, time, and volume control.
Steps
1. On the top bar, click the System menu icon.
2. Click the Lock button to lock your screen.
NOTE: You can press the Super + L key combination on your keyboard to lock the desktop.
Next steps
To unlock your screen, click the Unlock button from the System menu. You can also press the Esc + Enter key combination on
your keyboard to unlock your screen.
Managing the Dell Hybrid Client policy settings
You can configure and manage your devices powered by Dell Hybrid Client using the Hybrid Client policy settings on Wyse
Management Suite. To configure the Dell Hybrid Client settings, do the following:
1. Go to the Groups & Configs page, and select a group.
2. From the Edit Policies drop-down menu, click Hybrid Client.
The Configuration Control | Hybrid Client window is displayed.
3. Click the Standard tab or the Advanced tab.
The Standard tab lists all the common settings. The Advanced tab lists all the advanced settings.
4. Select the options that you want to configure.
5. In the respective fields, click the option that you want to configure.
6. Configure the options as required.
7. Click Save & Publish.
NOTE: After you click Save & Publish, the configured settings are also displayed in the Standard tab.
