5.10 Custom recovery tasks
If the environment requires a custom recovery strategy, both Dell EMC storage and VMware have robust sets
of PowerShell cmdlets to customize the recovery steps where needed. The Dell EMC storage cmdlets can
control the snapshot selection, view volume creation, volume mappings, and even modify replications. Within
the same script, the VMware cmdlets can rescan HBAs, manipulate vDisks, add virtual machines to inventory,
and perform most other tasks required for recovery.
