Replace a Stack Member
To replace a non-functional stack member:
Step Task Command Syntax Command Mode
1 Verify that each unit has the same FTOS version prior to
stacking them together.
show version
EXEC Privilege
2 Insert the replacement unit only without connecting the stacking cables before powering the unit.
3 Assign the stack-unit number of the unit that was
replaced to the replacement unit.
stack-unit <stack-unit>
renumber <stack-unit>
