neighbor send-community

Send a COMMUNITY attribute to a BGP neighbor or peer group. A COMMUNITY attribute
indicates that all routes with that attribute belong to the same community grouping.
Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} send-community
To disable sending a COMMUNITY attribute, use the no neighbor {ip-address |
peer-group-name} send-community command.
Parameters
Defaults
Not configured and COMMUNITY attributes are not sent to neighbors.

To configure a COMMUNITY attribute, use the set community command in the
ROUTE-MAP mode.

Disable a BGP neighbor or peer group.
Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} shutdown
To enable a disabled neighbor or peer group, use the neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name}
no shutdown command.
Parameters
Defaults
Enabled (that is, BGP neighbors and peer groups are disabled.)

ip-address
Enter the IP address of the peer router in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group to send a COMMUNITY attribute to
all routers within the peer group.

ip-address
Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
