Access Control Lists (ACL)
Overview
Access Control Lists (ACLs) are supported by FTOS on all Dell Force10 platforms, as
indicated by the characters that appear under each of the command headings:
e E-Series,
c C-Series, s S-Series, or .
FTOS supports the following types of Access Control List (ACL), IP prefix list, and route
map:
• Commands Common to all ACL Types
• Common IP ACL Commands
• Standard IP ACL Commands
• Extended IP ACL Commands
• Common MAC Access List Commands
• Standard MAC ACL Commands
• Extended MAC ACL Commands
• IP Prefix List Commands
• Route Map Commands
• AS-Path Commands
• IP Community List Commands
Commands Common to all ACL Types
The following commands are available within each ACL mode and do not have
mode-specific options. Some commands may use similar names, but require different options
to support the different ACL types (for example, deny).
