Enable the display of a text string when the user enters the EXEC mode.

Defaults
Enabled on all lines (if configured, the banner appears).

Optionally, use the banner exec command to create a text string that is displayed when the user
accesses the EXEC mode. This command toggles that display.

Set a time interval the system will wait for input on a line before disconnecting the session.
Syntax
exec-timeout minutes [seconds]
To return to default settings, enter no exec-timeout.

minutes
Enter the number of minutes of inactivity on the system before disconnecting the current
session.
Range: 0 to 35791
Default: 10 minutes for console line; 30 minutes for VTY line.
seconds
(OPTIONAL) Enter the number of seconds
Range: 0 to 2147483
Default: 0 seconds
