Display the Spanning Tree group configuration and status of interfaces in the Spanning Tree group.

show spanning-tree 0 [active | brief | guard | interface interface | root | summary]

Information
You must enable Spanning Tree group 0 prior to using this command.
Command
History
0 Enter 0 (zero) to display information about that specific Spanning Tree group.
active
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword active to display only active interfaces in Spanning Tree
group 0.
brief
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword brief to display a synopsis of the Spanning Tree group
configuration information.
guard
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword guard to display the type of guard enabled on an STP
interface and the current port state.
interface
interface
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword interface and the type slot/port of the interface you
want displayed. Type slot/port options are the following:
• For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet followed by
the slot/port information.
• For a SONET interface, enter the keyword sonet followed by the slot/port
information.
• For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword port-channel followed by a number:
C-Series and S-Series Range: 1-128
E-Series Range: 1 to 32 for EtherScale, 1 to 255 for TeraScale and 1 to 512 for
ExaScale.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet
followed by the slot/port information.
root
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword root to display configuration information on the
Spanning Tree group root.
summary
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword summary to only the number of ports in the Spanning
Tree group and their state.
