Follow these steps to locate the line card core dump files. The mini core dump file is a text (.txt) file so it
can be easily read. The full core dump files are gz files and can only be read by Dell Force10 TAC.
The panic string contains key information regarding the crash. Several panic string types exist. The content
of the string appears in english text. In the above output, SRESET refers to a loss of communication
between CP and RP. The CP assumes the RP kernel is hung and forces the RP into a reset state.
Step Task Syntax Command Mode
1 List the files in the directory.
dir

2 Change the directory to
CORE_DUMP_DIR.
