Hardware watchdog timer
The hardware watchdog command automatically reboots an FTOS system with a single RPM that is
unresponsive. This is a last resort mechanism intended to prevent a manual power cycle.
Information files and logs
Three key types of files are saved to the system flash in order to record ongoing software events and status:
Trace logs, Core dumps and Console output file. These types of files are saved to directories on the internal
system flash.
Trace logs provide information on the software on the RPM and line card status and events. Using the
show command history command, you can also view all the commands entered by all users.
Under voltage condition power brick failed and hard reset by rpm
