Notes:
The ‘G’ indicates that this VLAN was dynamically created via GVRP on R1.
If you execute
show vlan id 3 on R2, you will not see the G in the output, because the VLAN was
actually configured on R2, not dynamically negotiated.
To make the VLAN permanent on R1, use the
makestatic command under interface vlan 3.
Displaying GARP, GVRP, GMRP Properties
These Privileged Exec and User Exec mode commands display GARP, GVRP, and GMRP information:
show garp (Figure 14-182)
Displays admin mode for GVRP and GMRP
show gmrp configuration {unit/slot/port | all}
show gvrp configuration {unit/slot/port | all} (Figure 14-182)
