neighbor maximum-prefix

Control the number of network prefixes received.
Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} maximum-prefix maximum [threshold]
[warning-only]
To return to the default values, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name}
maximum-prefix maximum command.

ip-address
Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group to set the advertisement interval for all routers in
the peer group.
as-number
Enter the AS number to reset all neighbors belonging to that AS.
Range: 0-65535 (2-Byte)
or
1-4294967295 (4-Byte)
or
0.1-65535.65535 (Dotted format)
no prepend Specifies that local AS values are not prepended to announcements from the
neighbor.
bgp four-octet-as-support Enable 4-Byte support for the BGP process.

ip-address
Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group.
maximum
Enter a number as the maximum number of prefixes allowed for this BGP router.
Range: 1 to 4294967295.
threshold (OPTIONAL) Enter a number to be used as a percentage of the maximum value.
When the number of prefixes reaches this percentage of the
maximum value, the
E-Series software sends a message.
Range: 1 to 100 percent.
Default: 75
warning-only (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword warning-only to set the router to send a log
message when the maximum value is reached. If this parameter is not set, the router
stops peering when the maximum number of prefixes is reached.
