IS-IS is supported on the E-Series ExaScale platform in FTOS 8.1.1.0 and later.

IS-IS for IPv6 is supported on the E-Series TeraScale, C-Series, and S-Series platforms in FTOS 8.4.2.0

and later.

Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS) protocol is an interior gateway protocol (IGP) that

uses a shortest-path-first algorithm. Dell Force10 supports both IPv4 and IPv6 versions of IS-IS, as it it is
