Configuring VLANs
Configuring a VLAN is a two-step process:
1. Create a VLAN.
2. Add a switchport as a tagged or untagged member port. Refer to Assign Interfaces to VLANs.
3. Optionally, assign an IP address to a VLAN to enable routing between VLANs. Refer to Enable
Routing between VLANs.

Create a VLAN
A VLAN is created when you assign it a VLAN ID.
Task Command Syntax Command Mode
Create a VLAN. interface vlan vlan-id CONFIGURATION
Display all VLANs. show vlan vlan-id EXEC Privilege
