Applying a Privilege Level to a Username
To set the user privilege level, use the following command.
• Congure a privilege level for a user.

: When you assign a privilege level between 2 and 15, access to the system begins at EXEC mode, but the prompt is
hostname#, rather than hostname>.
Conguring Logging
The Dell Networking operating system tracks changes in the system using event and error messages.
By default, the system logs these messages on:
• the internal buer
• console and terminal lines
• any congured syslog servers
To disable logging, use the following commands.
• Disable all logging except on the console.
