Display the Logging Buer and the Logging
Conguration
To display the current contents of the logging buer and the logging settings for the system, use the show logging command in EXEC
privilege mode. When RBAC is enabled, the security logs are ltered based on the user roles. Only the security administrator and the
system administrator can view the security logs.
Example of the show logging Command

Conguring a UNIX Logging Facility Level
You can save system log messages with a UNIX system logging facility.
To congure a UNIX logging facility level, use the following command.
Specify one of the following parameters.
CONFIGURATION mode
logging facility [facility-type]
auth (for authorization messages)
cron (for system scheduler messages)
daemon (for system daemons)
