• ECS — Emergency call service such as dened by TIA or the national emergency numbering association
(NENA)
• ELIN — Emergency location identication number, a valid North America Numbering Plan format telephone
number supplied for ECS purposes.

To advertise softphone to enable IP telephony on a computer so that the computer can be used as a phone, congure the system.
Syntax
advertise med softphone-voice {vlan-id} | {priority-tagged number}
To return to the default, use the no advertise med softphone-voice {vlan-id} | {priority-
tagged number} command.
Parameters
vlan-id Enter the VLAN ID. The range is from 1 to 4094.
