Usage Information
• Spaces between characters are not preserved after entering this command unless you enclose the entire
description in quotation marks (“desc_text”).
• Entering a text string after the default vlan-id command overwrites any previous text string congured
as the description.
•
The show tdr and default vlan-id commands are the only commands that you can congure on an
interface that is a member of a port-channel.
• Use the show interfaces description command to display descriptions congured for each interface.
Related commands show interfaces description — Displays the description eld of interfaces.
errdisable recovery cause
Enable automatic recovery of an interface from the Err-disabled state.
Syntax
errdisable recovery cause {bpduguard | fefd | maclearnlimit | arp-inspection}
To disable the automatic recovery, use the no errdisable recovery cause {bpduguard | fefd |
maclearnlimit | arp-inspection} command.
Parameters
bpduguard Enter the keyword bpduguard to enable the timer to recover the interface from BPDU
Guard error.
fefd Enter the keyword fefd to enable the timer to recover the interface from FEFD error.
maclearnlimit Enter the keyword maclearnlimit to enable the timer to recover the interface from
MAC learning limit error.
arp-inspection Enter the keyword arp-inspection to enable the timer to recover the interface from
an arp-inspection error.
